The
Nursery is registered by Ofsted to take 16 children at any one time. We
divide this into three babies in
the baby room with a designated
nursery nurse giving a ratio of 1:3 and 12/13 children in the main room
where we have a high adult:child ratio to ensure good quality nursery
care for every child. the key worker system ensures that each child has
an adult who takes a special interest in him/her although, being a
small nursery all staff get to know the children very well which
contributes towards their overall nursery education.
We often have trainee
nursery
nurses form Suffolk College who work with us as part of their practical
training as well as occasional work- experience students from local
schools such as Thomas Mills High School and Farlingaye High School. At
all times
our
staff
are encouraging and
caring, helping the children to develop to their
best potential.
